Understanding the Plug in Profit Site:

The Plug In Profit Site or PIPS as it is widely known, is an affiliate marketing website advertising six different income opportunities with which members are able to earn an income. It was an idea conceived by internet marketing guru Stone Evans when he decided to design a website loaded with affordable or free to join income opportunities which he himself promotes and which he could give away for Free! PIPS has been running with great success for some years now and has built up a large following – known as “Pipsters”.

Joining The Plug In Profit site:

Once you have filled out your details in the sales letter, you receive further instructions on how to proceed. The first requirement is that you register a domain name – this will be your website name/address and then pay for the hosting of your website to Host4Profit (this is your ONLY required cost). On completion of registration for hosting etc. you will need to place your log in details on a preset form, these details are required for access to the web host in order to be able to upload the website.

Your next task will be for you to join the promoted affiliate programs which will be listed with links to them. The majority of these are Free to join and it should be noted that there is absolutely no requirement to join the paid for programs. As you join each program in turn, you need to place your referral links into the allotted spaces on the form. This ensures your website is delivered to you pre-loaded and ready to make money. Any programs you elect not to join at this time will have the affiliate link of Stone Evans in them.

Once you have completed the registration process, the form is then submitted and within 24 hours, you are notified that your website is ready, together with your log in details for your back office.

The website:

When you receive your new free website you will need to type your domain name into your web browser to view it. An example of how the site will look can be found here: Plug In profit site The site you receive may differ slightly due to updated programs.

With your website, you get free registration of an auto responder “Get Response” which comes pre loaded with a series follow up letters to people who subscribe to your news letter. In addition you get a support@your-website-name email address, which is forwarded to an email address of your choosing

The Back Office:

As you can see from the screenshot below, the back office is quite comprehensive in itself with links to the various support sections and account information. There is also a section for viewing your statistics and commissions earned.

Affiliate Programs:

The following affiliate programs are current at the time of writing and come pre-loaded on the free website, each have their own built in training to maximize the potential. It is not a requirement to undertake any of the training offered by the individual programs as you can earn income simply from referrals to each particular one. It is however recommended that you at least explore each site for tips etc.

Host4Profit – Required Subscription – (necessary for hosting of website)

Success University - Subscription  – Not compulsory

Empowerism – Subscription -  Not Compulsory

SFI - No Subscription required – Can build down line then subscribe later to maximize profits

Traffic Swarm – No Subscription Required

Maximum Paid Surveys – No Subscription Required – Clickbank ID required

The above affiliate programs are core to the PIPS business and are included with the website given free to new members. There is no requirement to promote any of the above programs and you can add any other programs you choose to join, not included in the above list.

If you elect not to join any of the above at the outset of the new business, but wait until you are seeing sufficient visitors to your website, you will need to update the referral links via your account in the back office. The website is then automatically updated.

Training:

Within the back office, there is access to training materials. These consist of a comprehensive step by step 30 Days To Success Tutorial and also a selection of Video Tutorials some of which teach you how to make changes to your website.

Within the 30 day training, recommendations are made to subscribe to certain traffic generators etc. It should be noted that these are only recommendations and not necessary at the outset unless of course you have a large budget.

It is prudent to read through the 30 days training at least three times and without subscribing to anything. Then visit the member forum and ask questions there about anything you are unsure of.

Support:

There are presently two areas of support, the first one being accessed only through the PIPS back office. In this area, you can contact the support desk with queries, get information about the various programs and access PIPS Site Help where you can obtain upgrades or changes to your site.

The second area is a member’s only section of the Warrior Forum where first class help and advice relating to any aspect of PIPS can be obtained. Marketing techniques and traffic generation are widely discussed topics here. Many of the people seen in the testimonials of the sales page can be found in the Warrior Forum and who are only too pleased to help and advise.

Costs:

The costs associated with joining The Plug In Profit Site and getting a web presence are minimal.

The only required cost is for:

Domain Name Registration – (unless you have a domain already) $15.00 one off.

Domain Hosting – $24.95 per month

Further costs are incurred only if you elect to join the “paid subscription” opportunities.

Target Market:

Anyone, wishing to start out in internet marketing, but who does not know how or where to start.

Success Rate:

It is unknown how many PIPS members are currently active with their businesses, but the program itself is extremely successful and continues to grow worldwide.

Additional Support:

Although the target market is aimed at both young and older people and the 30 day tutorial is comprehensive, it is sometimes difficult for people to understand the principles of internet marketing and the need for budgeting whilst marketing and prioritizing tasks. In addition some people also struggle when trying to make necessary changes to their web site. For this reason, a group of senior and successful PIPS marketers got together and formed the PIPS Power Group or PPG to offer PIPS members personal mentoring.

Summary:

It is my view that the PLUG IN PROFIT SITE offers a tremendous opportunity for anyone wishing to get into internet affiliate marketing.

However, it should be noted, that there is a tendency for new people when joining, to jump straight in and subscribe to everything mentioned without first asking questions in the forum. It is to a degree understandable, in that they are keen to follow a known successful internet marketers recommendations, the emphasis being on recommendations. They want to get the ball rolling as soon as possible, but in doing so, newcomers tend to max out their budget and see little return in a short space of time. It is at this point, that many give up. The Plug In Profit Site Works, there are many testimonies to that fact, but success does not come over night. You do have to work at it.
